I'm trying to install Windows 7 Home Premium with a USB 2.0 with the.iso placed using Rufus. The -sha1 hash is verified so the.iso is not corrupt and I am getting the infamous CD/DVD driver required error.
However, any USB I place in any port is not recognizedwhen I go to browse. All I can see is the X: boot drive, nothing else, so even if I get drivers onto my USBs they will not be detected at all.
I've tried moving the USBs to different ports to no avail. The USBs ports are working because my keyboard works,so what's the deal?Motherboard is MSI Z170A Gaming m5, trying to do a clean install of Windows 7 onto SSDs, but it won't even let me get past the missing drivers section. Extremely frustrating.
